Time goes by. I had planned to go out to the desert to look for geods this weekend but am staying in and reading about them instead.

Working full time, even at a job I love, takes its toll. Weekends go by quickly and while there is so much about Southern California that I want to explore, the time is limited. Still, the desert with its treasure trove of rocks will always be there. The desert–the land I’ve always been most intriqued by.
